On December 16th 2024, the Union Club was honoured to host a group of young people, who participated in an amateur skittles tournament, which we hope is one of many more to be organized in 2025.
Twelve wonderful students showcased team work, sports spirits and brought incredible vitality to the club’s premises.
This event was organized as part of the three year Youth Inc program, aimed at promoting self sufficiency and life skills. This term has focused on self-care, and the Union Club offered the premises as a means of building team work.
Youth.inc is a youth work programme structured to meet various needs of young people in a holistic and dynamic way whilst supporting them in the process. The programme is developed around a youth centred approach with the aim to engage the young people in their own process of development and enable them to live more independently and access further study or employment.
